Understanding their biology & behaviour with Dr Carolyn King
About this event
Following on from the Predator Control Workshops with Cam Speedy late last year, you’ve expressed interest in understanding more about mustelid behaviour and this is the first of a number of workshops we will be holding bringing experts to the Coromandel to share their research and knowledge.
Dr King is New Zealand’s foremost authority on invasive mammals and world-renowned for her contribution to ecology – especially mustelids – stoats, weasels and ferrets. Her latest book has pulled together her lifetime of practical field experience along with meticulous historical and scientific research to help support dedicated members of community conservation groups.
There will be plenty of time for questions following Dr King’s presentation and the opportunity to connect with your fellow conservationists over light refreshments afterwards.
A free event hosted by Predator Free Hauraki Coromandel Community Trust.
Please note: In the interests of keeping everyone safe, we will require masks to be worn indoors.
